Dr. Vanessa Cornett is the Director of Keyboard Studies and Professor of Piano and Piano Pedagogy at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis - St. Paul.
A performer, educator, author, and performance coach, she enjoys working with musicians and other creative artists who struggle with performance anxiety or who want to develop their mental skills for peak performance experiences.
A certified meditation instructor with post-graduate training in sport psychology, she offers workshops, masterclasses, and personal coaching sessions.

I'm excited to be a Fulbright Scholar for the 2022-2023 academic year! I will be teaching and conducting research on mental skills for musicians at the Ankara Müzik ve Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi in Turkey.
